The renewed composition of Lavera's firming day cream contains bakuchiol, which fades lines and improves skin texture and firmness. Bakuchiol is obtained from the seeds of the Babchi plant and is well used in Indian and Chinese medicine. Bakuchiol is said to have similar effects to retinol but without the side effects and sun sensitivity of retinol (a natural and gentle alternative to retinol). The renewed composition is accompanied by even more responsible packaging, which uses high-quality glass.
